Walking on campus I see immense separation. Keen selections. Groups of women, walking with joy. Others, in the midst of this, are certain women, hurtfully alone. Groups of men, clique like. Categorized, still, as athletes, well-off, and such and I observe this and I think that high-school mentality never faded away, we carry it into college – thinking we are above others. While never noticing the immense hurt, some may carry on their face. I wish we can all be in joy, as those groups look… Even, I wish for myself, I find joy only in my imagination. Never truly here, amongst prejudice, judgements, and eagerness to walk over and around a fellow peer.
